ESSENTIAL QUESTION: Why do we still study Shakespeare?
Learners put together cut up lines of their sonnets and noted where they might've gone wrong in putting their assigned sonnet back together.
We discussed Sonnets 73, 116 and 130. Learners use the language of poetry to appreciate their pieces and I filled in any missing details.
I introduced the Inquiry into Shakespeare and we viewed "Why you should read Hamlet" as an exemplar:
